Tbilisi- Omalo- Diklo- Dartlo- Parsma- Jvarboseli- Omalo- Tbilisi

Tusheti – the most beautiful and remote region of Georgia is located on the northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Mountain ranges divide the province into four diverse valleys: Sachagmo, Pirikiti, Gometsari and Tsovata.

There are about 50 villages in Tusheti, but most of them are inhabited only from June to the end of September and only 10-12 families stay to overwinter there, mostly in Omalo.

You can get to know the hospitable and scenic enviroment of Tusheti in this great tour and afterwards, you will love this region forever.

Review from our guests:

“Dear Mr. Buhr,

We arrived safely in the hotel, got a room with a city view and are simply overwhelmed by the landscape, nature in interaction with locals and the team that has brought us all the secrets of the region closer. Tiko (our guide) was wonderful, an “all-knowing”, good manager, whose explanations on hiking were interpreted by two men when I ran out of my English… Temo has contributed a lot to the good mood and the smile with legends and a “brief outline of the toast tradition” and many events from the country’s history (and his own).

We have sooo many pictures in our heads (and many more on cell phones and cameras), now cultural part of our trip strats tomorrow.

Again, thank you and your great team!

Have a nice weekend!

Ines and Conrad M.

PS. We actually saw an eagle on the way back, quite close! Plus a lot of falcons. ”
